Account Representative

Position Description:
At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Inside Sales Representative to join the Data, Power & Control Team in Albia, IA.
What Will You Do? The primary purpose of this position is to sell all distributed, non-distributed, custom, and special purchase products through inbound calls.
Providing customer care and presales technical support services for connectivity products while using rapport-building skills to uncover additional sales opportunities.
Main Activities:
Organization:
Individual Contributor Main Interface:
Internal Engineering, operations and marketing team members, inside and outside sales and tech support.
External Customers and end users.
Budget:
Provides input to the sales budget for assigned sales region.
Main Job Duties:
Provide excellent customer service based on inbound requests from Distribution customers Utilize established Company processes to qualify, probe, up-sell, and cross-sell customers the full range of connectivity products.
Enter orders placed by Distribution customers in a timely and accurate manner.
Utilize established Company processes and reports to ensure timely completion of Distribution orders Maintain accurate and timely reporting of information to ensure that both the customer and the Company are provided with the information they need to best perform their jobs.
Consult with Team Lead for resolution agreement concerning out-of-the-ordinary customer issues or customer spiff program design.
Communicate effectively with the field sales representatives and rep firms to enable them to successfully follow up on quotes, opportunities, and issue resolution in the field.
Utilize, provide, develop and maintain the same levels of activities, services and professionalism described above when dealing with any customers served by any territory or division of the Company, no matter the manner in which the customer was contacted.
Accomplish other assignments or projects assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Education:
Associates degree in business or related.
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent education and experience.
Experience:
0-2 years of Customer Service or Sales experience.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment is a must.
Requires strong organizational and time management skills and be able to effectively multi-task.
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
